Energy efficiency

More energy-efficient outlet flaps

Heating mats specially tailored to our requirements significantly improve the efficiency of the heating elements in our discharge flaps. The susceptibility to faults and the risk of defects are also significantly reduced. The energy saving potential is around 25 % - 35 %.

Our long-term tests using the SA 307.1 discharge flap as an example have shown energy savings of approx. 46 % compared to the conventional version (SA 307). Switching to the new electrically heated outlet flaps SA 307.1 also requires no on-site modifications. The flap can simply be replaced. Further advantages also become clear in comparison with our thermal oil-heated discharge flaps. Here too, the efficiency can be significantly improved with a comparable connected load. In addition, the hazardous substance thermal oil can be dispensed with.

Energy-efficient silo heating

In the area of heating the silo bodies, the required connected load can be significantly reduced by installing our heating mats. Due to the uniform heat transfer and the resulting improved efficiency, energy savings of approx. 25 % - 45 % can be achieved. In order to be able to make a more precise statement on the savings potential, a case-by-case analysis is required.

Energy-efficient insulation

The use of special insulating materials and reinforced insulation in the outer walls, the silo ceiling and the hatch covers further reduces energy requirements. In addition, all silo partition walls are manufactured in a double-walled design and are also insulated.
